Previously an unused space in the basement, it has now been
transformed into a welcoming environment where families with
children up to 5 years old can learn and spend time together.
The center will host various trainings for parents, such as
car seat safety with the fire department. It will also serve
as a community hub where parents can connect, and young
children can socialize and engage in early learning
activities.
In partnership with First Things First, we are opening the
Mesa Family Resource Center in the Main Library in September
of 2024. The Mesa Family Resource Center will be a community
hub for families with children ages birth to five and will
include a wide range of free parenting activities, referrals
to support and resources geared towards supporting a child’s
optimal health and development, and community resources.
